Animaleja releases her debut album, "Nostalgia De Mar". This album is an invitation to immerse yourself in a universe with an aesthetic defined by the beach and the sea as symbolic elements around an urban-tropical relationship, where the beach and the city intertwine, and create a fresh musical experience for the listeners.

“Nostalgia del mar" is an introspective journey that explores Animaleja's sonic identity through a wide range of musical genres. From soukous, cumbia and champeta to trip hop and bass music. The album offers a sonic palette rich and varied, where percussions and bass play a fundamental role. Animaleja's voice accompanied by the melodies of the synths and guitars, creates atmospheres and soundscapes that evoke a psychedelic and surreal sunset on the beach in the middle of a terrace in a Medellín neighborhood.

The album is a project that brings together outstanding talents from the Colombian music scene, under the production of Juan Esteban Herrera “Ruido Selecto”, producer, sound engineer and national reference artist around bass music, dub, reggae and digital cumbia, also has collaborations with artists such as La Guadalupe, singer and percussionist in groups such as Killabeatmaker and Lucas Guingue, DJ producer under the name Dj fauno, and also singer and guitarist of the emblematic national rock group Bajo Tierra. “Nostalgia de Mar” has 15 tracks, including original songs and sound transitions that invite you to a continuous journey.

The album's art, created by Catalina Vásquez “Katiuska”, captures the essence of "Nostalgia del mar" through geometric shapes and tropical elements that evoke coastal landscapes. In addition, it is accompanied by a series of visualizers that offer an audiovisual experience directed by filmmaker Andre del Sur.
