Early Days (2016-2019) is a new collection of previously unreleased songs dating to the singer and songwriter’s teen years.

A prolific songwriter from a young age, Tapia spent his teenage years writing and recording song after song in his parents’ living room, using little more than a guitar and an old four-track recorder.

In 2019, Stones Throw released what would become Los Retros’ breakout single “Someone to Spend Time With” a viral hit that has since been certified Gold. While the track and subsequent EPs Retrospect and Looking Back introduced millions to Los Retros’ dreamy, lo-fi sound, a huge amount of music from that formative era has been unheard – until now.
