The Cars' Shake It Up (1981) fuses new wave cool with rock energy, featuring the infectious title track, which became the band's first Billboard Top 10 single. The album was named one of Spin magazine's 50 Best Albums of 1981. This album is cut from the original tapes by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Fidelity Record Pressing plant in Oxnard, California, as part of the Rhino Reserve line. One of the best West Coast folk-rock/psychedelic bands. Love were the kings of the Los Angeles psychedelic rock scene during the late sixties period.
